CountryFest combines more than 100 booth vendors with arts, crafts, food and games for the kids, with a stew cook-off contest, auto show and live entertainment throughout the day. Starting with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. until the last booth closes at 3 p.m.
CountryFest is celebrated annually the second Saturday in October.
It was begun 1974 by the Key Club of Mount Vernon to raise funds for various philanthropic efforts.
