The second annual KiteFest is confirmed for Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Franklin County Airport. A "Rain Date" of Sunday, March 17 is set just in case of inclement weather. This is the end of Mount Vernon ISD's Spring Break week.
The sponsoring Friends of the Franklin County Library will be organizing vendors, games and concession booths for the event.
