An early Christmas dinner and caroling with the Black Onyx Club is planned from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at the Masonic Lodge Hall. Everyone is invited to join them for dinner with chicken dressing and all the trimmings along with homemade desserts.
The cost is $10 per person for either eat in or take out. Advance tickets are available from members of the Black Onyx Club Board of Directors and the offices of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
The fund raising events is to provide scholarships to MVHS graduates. The Masonic Lodge Hall is located on the south access road to I-30, just east of the Super 8 Motel.
