The Franklin County Arts Alliance will host a showing of short films at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at the Cultural Arts Center. The event takes its name "End of the Age" from the Myan and Hopi calendars.
The Hopis and Mayans recognize that we are approaching the end of a World Age... In both cases, however, the Hopi and Mayan elders do not prophesy that everything will come to an end. Rather, this is a time of transition from one World Age into another.
A showing of films by Sam Ramsey, Liz Etheridge and Donna & Bob McFarland will be shown at the "End of the Age" event. |
