Equine Coggins & Vacccination Clinic Print

The eighth annual Equine Coggins and Vaccination Clinic is set from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, February 16 at the Mt. Vernon Sheriff’s Posse Arena. Dr. Bishop Curry with the Mt. Vernon Vet Clinic will administer the vaccinations and draw blood for the coggins test.

People that bring their horses should be able to save a significant amount of money versus taking them to a vet clinic. Test and vaccination costs are as follows: Coggins test  $20.00; Deworming (Equimax or Quest),  $11.00; Rabies vaccination, $8.00; 8-Way vaccination, $45.00(West Nile, Sleeping Sickness, Tetanus, Flu, Rhino);  West Nile vaccination, $20.00.

All horses and horse owners welcome; Clinic provided as a public service.
