The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, East Texas Medical Center, Jordan Health Services, and Mission Manor Nursing Home have joined forces for the third annual Franklin County Health Fair. The event is Saturday, March 2 from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
Registrations are being accepted from area health organizations to participate in the event. There is no charge to set up a booth, but vendors are requested to donate a door prize.
The East Texas Medical Center Mammogram bus will be onsite throughout the day. Call 800-648-8141 and press #3 to schedule an appointment.
The event will provide health care information to people of all ages about a range of health topics. Free blood pressure, body mass index, and glucose screenings will be available. Door prizes, information from exhibitors, and refreshments will also be included.
