The Mount Vernon / Saltillo Young Farmer Association sponsors the annual Mount Vernon / Saltillo FFA & 4H Project Show usually the last Saturday in March each year. In 2013 the last Saturday is Easter weekend; therefore, the event was set for Saturday, March 23.
The show includes broiler chickens, dairy heifers, beef cattle steers, goats and shop projects. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. with show divisions beginning at 8:30 a.m.
A "Suck Bucket" competition is conducted for the pre-school aged children and everyone's entertainment. |
