Friends to paint with a twist Saturday

The Friends of the Franklin County Library will be hosts for a Painting with a Twist party from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 26. The event will be at the Franklin County Multi-Purpose Building

Night in the Museum set for April 2

The Franklin County Historical Association is sponsoring a concert and “A Night in the Museum” on Saturday, April 2. There are six students from Mount Vernon Intermediate School who will be featured as historical characters.

Coloring parties set at local library

A pair of Coloring with Friends parties, one for teens and one for adults, has been scheduled this week at the Franklin County Library. Coloring enthusiasts are encouraged to attend.

Texana Living History to present program

The Texana Living History Association will provide a portrayal of the real character of Margaret Deliens (Wells) Rose by LaJuanna Faught as the program for the Franklin County Historical Association’s bimonthly general membership meeting Monday, March 7.

“High Five” concert Sunday
