Texas Guitar Quartet concert slated here

The Texas Guitar Quartet will be presented in concert at the Mount Vernon Music Hall at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 23. The group has firmly established a reputation as the premier guitar ensemble in Texas.

The Franklin County Arts Alliance will open an exhibit featuring the work of local artists Beverly Brewer, Mozelle Ramsay, and Dean Teague. Board members will serve as hosts for a light lunch

Bigony honored by National Watercolor Society

Ron Bigony, an East Texas artist with ties to the local art community, was recently honored with the National Watercolor Society’s Signature status. Mr. Bigony’s work was carefully reviewed and closely examined by a jury of three and was determined to be of high quality.

The Franklin County Arts Alliance (FCAA) will sponsor two events at the Cultural Arts Center (CAC) during September. A new exhibit will open and the Reilly Springs Jamboree will perform.
