Mary Lou and the Crew returns to Alamo festival

Christophor Hill and Mary Lou and the Crew will play from the stage at the Alamo Mission Museum’s annual music festival  Saturday, April 9. Mr. Hill performs as a one-man band playing “Kansas City flavored” Rhythm and Blues and a bit of Soul.

History comes to life at Night in the Museum

Six students from Mount Vernon Intermediate School’s fifth and sixth grades will be featured as historical characters for “A Night in the Museum” Saturday, April 2.

“High Five” concert Sunday

Friends to paint with a twist Saturday

The Friends of the Franklin County Library will be hosts for a Painting with a Twist party from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 26. The event will be at the Franklin County Multi-Purpose Building

Night in the Museum set for April 2

The Franklin County Historical Association is sponsoring a concert and “A Night in the Museum” on Saturday, April 2. There are six students from Mount Vernon Intermediate School who will be featured as historical characters.

Coloring parties set at local library

A pair of Coloring with Friends parties, one for teens and one for adults, has been scheduled this week at the Franklin County Library. Coloring enthusiasts are encouraged to attend.

Texana Living History to present program
