Writing workshop Saturday at CAC

The “Write” Time Workshop has been set for Saturday, January 18 at the Cultural Arts Center. The Franklin County Arts Alliance and the Franklin County Library have teamed up with the North East Texas Writer’s Organization to bring this event to Mount Vernon.

Ron Clinton to perform Van Cliburn favorites

Dr. Ron Clinton will be featured in concert at the Mount Vernon Music Hall at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19. He will perform a series of piano pieces known and loved by fans of the late Texas legend Van Cliburn.
