The Franklin County Arts Alliance’s Black Tie, Boots and Buckaroos event was declared a success with 60 people attending. Approximately $500 was netted for the local alliance programs.
“The food was fine, the films and demonstration were entertaining, and the weather could not have been better,” commented Jeanie Pamplin, president of the FCAA. The contemporary poetry of Michael Whatley, left, and recorded metal band music served as inspiration for artist Terry McCullough, right. The presentation and demonstration of a working artist were part of the Black Tie, Boots and Buckaroos event. See the July 4 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details from the event.
