Tullis on president’s spring list

William “Hank” Tullis of Scroggins has been named to the president’s list at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches for the spring semester.

Auringer named to dean’s lists

Zachary Auringer was named to the dean’s list for both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters at Texas A&M University - Commerce. Honorees must be full time students at the university and maintain a 3.50 grade point average or above.

Heritage Scholarship banquet Saturday night

The ninth annual Heritage Scholarship Banquet, honoring the black heritage graduates of the 2016 Mount Vernon High School graduating class and those currently in college, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18.

Callie Key graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor of science degree in speech/language pathology. A total of 2,102 students received degrees.
