MVISD Baccalaureate Services set

The Baccalaureate Service for Mount Vernon High School candidates for graduation will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at the First Baptist Church of Mount Vernon. The speaker for the event will be J.P. Jobe.

Design an ad winners

The topic was “Read Read Read” and was sponsored by the First National Bank.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be offering a Certified Food Manager Course in Franklin County on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 17-18, in Mount Vernon at the First United Methodist Church.

College students win awards at agriculture conference
