Radford, Fowler are Rotary Students for April

Chelsey Radford and Al FowlerChelsey Radford and Al Fowler were named as the Rotary Students of the Month for April 2015 at Mount Vernon High School. Miss Radford is ranked 23 out of a class of 104 students with a 3.80 grade point average.

Class of 1951 sets annual reunion

The Mount Vernon High School class of 1951 reunion has been set for Saturday, May 2. The event will be conducted at the lake home of Steve and Tammy DeWolf with Rex and Barbara Norris as hosts.

Huizinga honored for academics

Cole Huizinga received a silver award from the head of the Criminal Justice department at Lubbock Christian University.Cole Huizinga, a 2012 graduate of Mount Vernon High School, was honored for his academic accomplishments in multiple ceremonies at Lubbock Christian University (LCU) over the past two weeks.
