Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Nine individuals and three groups were featured in the second annual Young Artists Showcase concert presented by the Mount Vernon Music Association Sunday, May 24 at The Music Hall in Mount Vernon. Benjamin Grigsby of Mount Vernon was the recipient of the first Mount Vernon Music Scholarship. He will receive $1,000 for use in his college music studies.
