Fourth Grade students from Ms. Jeanne Lawrence’s class at Saltillo Elementary School were treated to a performance by local musician Jerry Holter on Monday, June 1.  Mr. Holter, also the owner of JHP Land and Cattle, performed selections from his CD “Subjugated.”  The students have been learning about adding personal inspiration to their creative writing, so Mr. Holter introduced each song with a lesson about the inspiration for each song.  Later, he provided the students with steps to add personal touches to their creative writing stories and poems.
