The Franklin County Arts Alliance announced plans for the opening of a new art exhibit Thursday, Sept. 9 at Cook Hall in the Cultural Arts Center. More than 100 pieces in oil or watercolors will be exhibited in the  Plein Air in Venice exhibit. The exhibit will feature works of three local artists, Sandra St. John and two of her art students, Annette Rutherford and Anne Edwards.
