Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Patrons of all ages are invited to stop in to view and enjoy an exhibit of oversized panels of photos, art and documents from the Civil War era. The exhibit will be on display Monday through Saturday, Oct. 4-9.
The sole focus of this exhibit is the grim reality of the Civil War. Three giant panels with life-size photos are reproduced on lightweight satin fabric and will be displayed on walls of the main floor of the library. The panels are 7x17 foot, 4x8 foot, and a 4x4 foot. See the Sept. 30 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details on the exhibit.
