June Foster reviewed the book A Time for Remembering for the Thursday, Feb. 19 meeting of the Shakespeare Club at the Tall Tree Club House. The book was published in 1983. Paul Harvey stated that Ruth Graham was “The Wind Beneath the Wings” of Billy Graham.
“I wanted to whet your appetite so that you will read the book and share it with friends,” Ms. Foster told the group.
A brief business meeting was conducted before Rae Harper introduced the speaker. Nancy Miller, Mary Lou Russell and Susan Sample served as hostesses. After the meeting, dessert was served while the ladies talked of the review.
