The Franklin County Library kicks off two programs to benefit patrons Thursday, March 5.
The first is a one night event designed to prepare patrons and their families for the fast approaching summer season. Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Doyle Brown will present a water safety program at 6:30 p.m. in the board room of the library.
The second program is the first of a weekly series of self help workshops for patrons who may have been affected by the recent downturn in the economy. See the Feb. 26 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
