Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The public is invited to Mount Vernon Music Association’s annual Young Artists Showcase at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 22. This musical event features youth from around the region of northeast Texas at the Mount Vernon Music Hall. This year’s performers will include budding talents on the classical guitar, percussion, clarinet, voice, cello, saxophone, trumpet, and the Sulphur Springs Strings under the direction of Ben Roberts.
