Sir Kegian gets Best of Show at Mayfair fine arts festival

Best of ShowThe Dean Teague Best of Show award for Mayfair 2011 was won by Bonnie Sir Kegian. More than 300 visited the show and sale at the Cultural Arts Center.
Ms. Sir Kegian, a resident of Winnsboro and a sculptor claimed the $500 prize. Her prize winning piece was a contemporary sculpture from golden honeycomb calcite sitting atop a white banded calcite base. The honeycomb calcite is native only to Utah, and offers a great refraction of light. For more information, see the May 26 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
