Franklin County area residents can benefit from reduced food costs by participating in the Angel Food Ministries program. The program is designed for families and senior citizens who are struggling economically, regardless of their income level.
The First United Methodist Church will be the host site for Angel Food Ministries in Mount Vernon. Local volunteers will begin taking orders March 30 through April 2 both at the church or on-line. See the March 12 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
