Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Violist April Kondrat performed for about 20 minutes for third and fourth grade students on September 15 and for pre-k, kindergarten, first and second grade classes on September 13. Mount Vernon Music Association brought the show to the Mount Vernon Elementary School cafetorium. The interactive program included the familiar children’s songs “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly” and “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt” for solo viola.   (Optic Photo by D.K. Greer ’11 )
