The Southwestern Watercolor Society has selected Mount Vernon / Franklin County as the site of its Spring Paint Out March 27-29.
Around 20 members of the Southwest Watercolor Society are expected for the working weekend get-away. Members of the Franklin County Art Association are serving as hosts for the group.
The artists will be stationed in quiet alcoves, historic buildings, blooming flora and unobstructed vistas in and around Mount Vernon / Franklin County. They respectfully ask not to be disturbed while on location. See the March 26 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
