Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Mount Vernon Optic-Herald will publish early the week of July 2 in order for the papers to be in the mail before the July Fourth holiday. The post office will be closed Wednesday. The deadline for news and advertising will be at noon on Monday, July 2. The newspaper will be printed sometime Tuesday and placed in the stands late Tuesday afternoon. The Optic-Herald office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 and will re-open at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
