Johnny Newsome, Caitlyn Cooper, and Martha Hare their winning photos. Six people took eight awards in the inaugural Mount Vernon Main Street Alliance’s Photography Competition. The winners were announced in informal ceremonies at the Cultural Arts Center Saturday, Oct. 13. Winners were selected from among 28 finalists, with dozens more entered.
