Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

A fund raising reception for the Franklin County Historical Association has been set for Saturday, May  9 from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will be at the home of Joe and Candace Setina on Lake Bob Sandlin in Franklin County. Tickets are $20 per person in advance. Admission will be $25 per person at the door. Advance tickets are available at the Optic-Herald, the Parchman House - headquarters of the organization, and Texas American Bank. Tickets will are also available from the Association’s directors and officers. Funds from the event will be used toward the $10,000 to $14,000 needed to replace the roof on the Old Depot Museum.
