The guest speaker for Franklin County’s National Day of Prayer will be Tommy Nelson, Senior Pastor at Denton Bible Church in Denton, Tex.
The event has been scheduled for Thursday, May 7 at the Family Life Center at the First United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon.
The luncheon will be from 12 to 1 p.m, with the serving line beginning at 11:30. The program will start promptly at 12:10 and end at 12:50. See the April 30 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
