Recommendations for allocation of all the Franklin County Hotel-Motel Tax Funds were placed under the care of the Franklin County Hotel Tax Advisory Committee Monday. The action came in a split vote of the Franklin County Commissioners Court at their February 11 meeting.  See the Feb. 14 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for details from the meeting.
