Franklin County will be turning purple, May 11-16, 2009 as Relay For Life encourages citizens to Paint the Town Purple. Purple will be springing up all over the county in support of the Relay For Life event to be held May 15-16, 2009 at Tiger Stadium. “All businesses are encouraged to display purple during the week even if they are not participating in the contest,” Kathy Cannon, marketing/public relations chairperson stated.
