After dodging rain dates, the annual Cinco de Mayo celebration is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sunday, May 17. The celebration will be conducted on the grounds of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
The festivities feature traditional ethnic foods, games for all ages and dancing. Hay rides and pony rides will be offered this year along with live musical entertainment. See the May 14 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
