The chance for parents to sign their children up to participate in the balloon workshop at the Franklin County Library starts Monday, May 18. Sign-ups for children ages eight and up are on a first come first serve basis. The workshop is open to 30 participants. Anyone interested in signing up should call the library at 903-537-4916. Daryl Miller will conduct the balloon workshop for children at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at the library. He will demonstrate how to make various critters, flowers, and swords with balloons.
