Church fund-raiser Saturday
Members of the Lake Cypress Springs Baptist Church are having a brisket fund-raiser event on Saturday, April 3 at the church located at 6611 FM 115 next to Vinyard’s in Scroggins.
Spring clean-up efforts begin
The City of Mount Vernon’s Second Quarter Clean-up will begin Saturday, April 3, and continue Monday through Saturday, April 5-10. County clean-up efforts coincide with that of the city’s. For more details, see the April 1 edition of the Optic-Herald.
