Seven spots are available for a "Basic Computer Training" cource at the Franklin County Library. Individuals are encouraged to sign up for the class now.
The annual Pinewood Derby for Mount Vernon Cub Scout Pack 271 is seet for Saturday , Feb 6 in the Family Life Center at First United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon. Carter Massey, Gracie Martin, Gavin Rainey, Alexa Carroll, Landon Skeen, Abby Lovier, Gracie Proctor, Brylon Bolin, Alex Alford, Savanna Maxton, and Debbie Canaday celebrated Groundhog’s Day on Tuesday, Feb. 2. The group did not see their shadows, therefore they predicted an early spring.
