Aikens win Trey Deuce “42” tourney

Jimmy and Judy Aiken were the winners of the third annual Trey Deuce 42 Tournament. The tournament was conducted at the local Trey Deuce Domino Saloon Saturday, Feb. 6. See the Feb. 18 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.

 

Tickets available for 2010 Rotary Bingo

Tickets for the annual Rotary Bingo for Scholarships are are now available, according to Rotary president Ann Holland. Due to limited seating, only 415 tickets will be sold to the Saturday, Feb. 27 event.

The annual Blue and Gold  banquet for Mount Vernon Cub Scout Pack 271 is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 in the Family Life Center of First United Methodist Church. The banquet is open for  registered pack members, families and special invited guests.
