The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce expanded their program to honor yards in our community to include those decorated for Halloween.

Several area churches have planned Fall Carnivals for the nights of Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31. Grace Baptist Church is having a Hallelujah Night event from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 at the church located at 512 Yates St.

Young and old alike can get a thrill at the Old Depot Museum from 5-7 p.m. Friday night, Oct. 30 in conjunction with Trick-or-Treat Around the Square. There is no charge for those wanting to stop by for a visit.
