Judge William Benton “Bill” Meek, Melba Meek, Minnie Laughton Birdsong, Jack D. Henry, Mary Nell Mince Henry Jennings, and Charles Lowry will be inducted into the Mount Vernon School District’s League of Honor during a special ceremony at halftime of the Mount Vernon vs. Mineola football game on Friday, Sept. 25.
