Fifteen girls seek four titles in the Sheriff’s Posse queen and princess contests. The Princess and Junior Princess crowns will be awarded during rodeo events on Saturday evening. A ten gallon hat full of activities is planned around the annual Labor Day Rodeo this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 4-6 in Mount Vernon.

Rough, tough and drop-dead gorgeous, are the phrases often used to describe the All American Cowgirl Chicks® that will be featured for the Go Rodeo Festival Sept. 5 and 6. The 12-member team will perform a concert at noon Saturday on the Mount Vernon Plaza.
