Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The local Brownie Troop led by Jamie Sanders went on a weekend camping trip to Lake Bob Sandlin State Park. The Brownies learned  how to build their own shelter, how to start a camp fire,  how to cook on a camp fire, and about forest safety. Each group was asked to create and perform their own short campfire skit, that gave way to lots of smiles and laughter.
