Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

A Celebration in the Park event is scheduled for Saturday, June 20 starting at 10:30 a.m. at Little Creek Park. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, snow cones, and ice cream will be served. Activities for the day will  include kickball, domino's, card games, a three-legged race, a sack race, water slides, and other games. A three on three basketball tournament will also be conducted throughout the day.Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend the event for a day of fun in the sun.
