Members of the community are invited to attend “A Celebration in the Park” event set for Saturday, June 20 at Little Creek Park starting at 10:30 a.m. Hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, snow cones, ice cream, and fun will be served up free to all attendees. Games including kickball, domino's, card games, a three-legged race, a sack race, water slides, and others will be conducted throughout the day. All ages are encouraged to participate in the talent, and a three on three basketball tournament will also be conducted throughout the day. Two divisions will be available for the tournament for children ages six to 12 and for ages 13 and up. Anyone wishing to participate in the tournament or the talent show is asked to register before Saturday, June 13.
