The youth choir from the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon recently returned from a choir tour and mission trip to Hawaii. The group performed five concerts, and conducted a beach ministry, vacation Bible school, and a sports camp while on the island. Those making the trip were Zach Bean, Doug, Vickie, Emily and Neal Blevins, Joy Bondurant, Kobly Caraway, John Cleveland, Angela Crowson, Leona Dillard, Hanna Drabble, Caleb and Tucker Gatlin, Tedi Griffith, Cole and Melody Halter, Baily and Becky Hunnicutt, Jesse James, Savannah Keys, Stephen, Dana, Christian and Jonathan Ladd, Billy and Karen Pickett, Debra and Pepper Puryear, Fred and Jane Randles, Katie and Mady Reeves, Rachel and Maddie Thames, James West, and Kelsey and Cristy Whitlock.
