Children attending Vacation Bible School at Purley Baptist Church collected coins to help church members Joe, Trish and Maria Kuhl, raised funds for a mission trip to Steertown Jamaica. The mission project raised $756.13.
More than 80 children participated in the project by bringing coins to VBS each day. The Kuhls will be traveling to Jamaica July 25 - Aug. 1 with the Isle Go Missions project. While in Jamaica, they will be building houses and conducting VBS. The mission offering from VBS will be used to provide mattresses for the homes and will also provide school supplies and school uniforms for the children.
