Author, teacher and naturalist Matt White spoke about the need to preserve our natural heritage as much as we do our structures. He brought home the message with photos of the Blackland Prairies, of which Franklin County is a part. Just under 90 attended the meeting of the Franklin County Historical Association and dinner conducted at the Hagansport Community Center Monday, July 6.
