Blake Hollingsworth enjoys a piece of juicy watermelon, and you can too. Free ice cold watermelon will be served to the public beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3 on the square in Mount Vernon. The event is being sponsored by the Franklin County Library in observance of National Watermelon Day. See the July 30 edition for more information.
