Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Navy Ensign Steve Crowston, formerly of Franklin County, recently received a commission to his current rank in the U.S. Navy. The commission was earned while serving aboard the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) homeported in San Diego, Calif. The ceremony was conducted at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, San Diego.
