It is not often that a community gets to help a friend celebrate 100 years of life, but for the second time this summer a Franklin County community member will reach the century mark. A reception is planned for Saturday, Aug. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church’s Activity Building to celebrate Minnie Reeves’ 100th birthday.
