The Rural Beauty Spot award for August 2009 was presented by representatives from the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce in informal ceremonies on Friday, Aug. 7. The yard of Jimmy and Sandra Bates, at 1189 Hwy. 21, was selected to receive the award award.
