Don Easterling will be the guest speaker at the Franklin County Genealogy Society meeting on Monday, Sept. 21 at the Research Room at 110 East Main St. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., an hour earlier than the normal meeting time. After the meeting, Mr. Easterling will demonstrate the use of “divining” rods in locating unmarked burials.  For more information, see the Sept. 17 edition of the Optic-Herald.
